Shore Thing is a purpose-built sailing catamaran accommodating up to 10 guests, designed for excellent stability and comfort at sea.

Shore Thing is a 51ft (15m) sailing catamaran built for comfort and adventure. Relax in the spacious central saloon, hang out on the fully shaded deck, or soak up 360° views from the elevated flybridge. The expansive front deck with double trampolines is perfect for chilling in the sun. With her shallow draft and stable catamaran design, Shore Thing glides smoothly over Ningaloo’s inner reef lagoons, giving you easy access to calm anchorages and spectacular diving spots.

 

The talented host serves up fresh, wholesome meals every day, crafted with seasonal local ingredients. Special dietary requirements are easily catered for, and the vessel is fully licensed, serving a curated selection of spirits, WA wines, and beers on board.

 

 

Travel & Cruise Logistics

Coral Bay sits roughly halfway between Perth and Broome along WA’s remote coral coast, on the World Heritage‑listed Ningaloo Reef, about 1,180 km from Perth. Driving from Perth takes around 12 hours, or 14 hours from Broome, though it’s worth allowing extra time to explore stops along the way, like Shark Bay/Monkey Mia to the south or Karijini National Park to the north.

Daily flights run from Perth to Learmonth/Exmouth with connections to Australia’s East Coast. Sail Ningaloo offers transfers for guests: Exmouth to Coral Bay – 1 h 45 min, Learmonth Airport to Coral Bay – 1 h 15 min. Scenic flights and hire cars are also available.
