SAIL THROUGH PALAU’S ISLANDS
The dramatic sun deck sits on the deck just above the interior main-deck lounge and gives plenty of room for working on your tan. The interior lounge area, with rich, warm wood decor, is genuinely spacious and is equipped with cocktail bar, coffee machine, 42 inch flat screen & computer server supporting the inter-cabin network, You’ll find TV / DVD, PC, small library and sitting area. Situated at the stern, just adjacent to this lounge space, is the covered exterior dining area with panoramic views, a unique feature of the Siren vessels. Cabins are all situated on the lower deck.
The food served on-board the Palau Siren is a mix of Thai, Filipino and Indonesian dishes with accents of Western cuisine. You’ll have 24-hour access to soft drinks, purified water, juices, herbal teas and fresh brewed coffee. After the diving day is over guests are offered free local beer and there are also wines or spirits from the cocktail bar.
The dive deck is one of the most spacious available and the amenities for photographers are tops. The Palau Siren has designated indoor & outdoor workstations for charging, preparation and maintenance photo equipment. Large storage drawers are available, as well as numerous charging points and there are large dedicated rinse tanks with fresh water. All Siren Fleet liveaboards are rebreather friendly but pre-booking is essential.
Sea kayaks available for your leisure time between dives. Boutique, laundry and massage are also offered.

The Palau Siren offers 6, 7 & 10 night trips, expect to see a variety of reef sharks, huge schools of jacks and barracuda, manta and eagle rays, Napoleon wrasse and batfish coupled with many critters and impressive corals. DIVING HIGHLIGHTS:
Best of Palau itineraries: Aboard Palau Siren, you’ll dive as many of Palau’s beloved sites as time allows. Of course, everyone want to dive Ngemelis Drop Off, which was considered by Jacques Cousteau to be the finest he’d ever experienced. This wall, which is “crawling” with sponges, whip corals, sea fans, anemones and other soft coral species crashes 300 meters virtually straight down. The fish attracted to this behemoth wall tend to be as colorful and dramatic as the wall itself. Then, all around the famous Rock Islands you’ll find coral gardens galore and additional drop-offs … plus caves, swim-throughs, blue holes, marine lakes and even wartime wrecks make thrilling entries in your dive log.
On the barrier reef that circles the area, you’ll find wall dives and drift dives and more Kodak photo opportunities than you can count. The currents here can be swift and sweeping, but they bring the excitement of big schools of fish and pelagics, including tons of jacks, turtles, sharks, manta rays. You’ll also dive Big Drop Off & the Blue Holes (4 holes which merge into one huge cavern) where you find a plethora of pelagic fish species plus plenty of sharks. Plus there’s Blue Corner (more swirling pelagics) and German Channel with its exhilarating drift dives, walls, corals & abundant fish. And most itineraries include exploring at least one WWII wrecks.
Full Moon and New Moon spawning
trip : At certain times of year, during Full Moon and New Moon, the Palau Siren offers divers one of the most amazing natural events on earth, the spawning aggregations of the bumphead parrotfish and the red snapper. A whole lot of hungry sharks seem to like the action. Talk about adrenaline rush !

TRAVEL & CRUISE LOGISTICS
For all Palau itineraries your arrival & departure airport is Koror Airport (ROR). There are multiple international flight routes to Palau. Non-US citizens flying via Guam are required to obtain a ‘transit visa’ from US immigration prior to boarding your flight. We always recommend that you arrive in Palau one day in advance of your cruise departure. If you are not remaining for any additional nights after your diving holiday, please allow plenty of time for transfer to the airport and check in.
Upon arrival into Koror you will be met by a hotel or Sam’s Tours Palau representative and transferred to the hotel of your choice. You’ll want to be at Sam’s Tours Dive Center for boarding before 10am on the day of departure. Upon your return, you’ll disembark at Sam’s at 10am.
