The brand new 41-meter (135-foot) Philippines Agggressor sleeps 24 guests in 12 cabins. Her Philippine Islands itineraries include trips to the best of Visayas & Tubbataha.
A word from Dom: "The newest Aggressor liveaboards impress me in terms of their sheer space & their light, airy atmosphere. This is the latest entry into the fleet & perhaps the best of the lot. Her styling is simple & tasteful ... and her itineraries are varied and comprehensive. She's just recently begun operation but I have no doubt about recommending her to any diver." ... Dominick Macan
This new Philippines vessel offers typical Aggressor amenities. The huge top sun deck is partially covered and features sunbeds, a wet bar & grill, a media player (which has an iPod & phone plug-in), a hot tub and an al-fresco dining area.
Just below the sun deck is the upper deck where you find the bridge & three deluxe balcony suites. In addition, you've got an open air lounge at the aft of the boat, with lots of seating and panoramic views. For those moments you'd like to escape the heat, you'll also find on this deck, a cosy interior lounge with air conditioning, a flat screen TV, media centre, a library and plenty of sofa space to relax on. A complete photo center with a digital video and still photo editing computer is also available here.
The main deck hosts four deluxe staterooms and stunning panoramic window views. The dive deck, at the back of the main deck, features plenty of space for dive gear and cameras. Finally, on the lower deck, you'll find four more deluxe staterooms.
Throughout your trip there will be opportunities to go ashore for swimming, snorkeling and beach combing.
The menu on-board will treat you to a variety of American feasts, barbecues and local cuisine. Breakfast is cooked to order, there's a buffet lunch and dinner with tableside service ... plus, you'll have fresh mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks. To be announced
For most Visayas trips your airport will be Cebu (CEB). For the trips which begin or end in Dumaguete, you will fly in and out of different airports - Cebu (CEB) for one end of the tirp & Dumaguete (DGT) for the other end of the trip. For Tubbataha trips, your arrival & departure airport will be Puerto Princessa (PPS). Many major airlines fly into the Philippines including: Korean Air, Cathay Pacific, Delta and Philippine Airlines.
You will be met at the airport at 4 pm on the departure date by a staff member of the Aggressor and transferred to the yacht. We strongly recommend, however, arriving at least one day earlier to make sure you're rested & have all your bags. We can recommend options for first night and extended stays.
All guests must be on board by 6 pm for the yacht briefings, dinner, then departure for the first night's anchorage. Your first dive will be the following morning. On the last diving day, the yacht will return to port in the afternoon. Dinner will be ashore & the staff will recommend restaurants close by. This is the only meal not included in the price of your trip. Checkout time is at 8 a.m the next morning and transportation will provided to the airport after a continental breakfast.
