Travel & Cruise Logistics

The EcoPro offers 7 and 10-night cruises. The cruises normally leave every X.  Check in time is generally at 12.30 pm and you will be met at the airport by a representative of the liveaboard.  If you arrive early, you may wait at the airport or we can help you to make arrangements to use the facilities of the nearby airport hotel until check-in time for the boat.  Check out time will be latest by 8 am on the day of return.

Itineraries

SeaScape operates all over the Maldives: from the North to Central Atolls, to the Deep South as well as a combo of the “Best Of The Maldives!”!

The final itinerary is, of course, always dependent upon weather, sea conditions and where the best animal sightings are at any particular time of year.

Central Atolls:

  • Where: Male, South Male, North Ari, South Ari, Vaavu, (Rasdhoo)
  • When: All year round. Itineraries prepared and specific dive sites carefully chosen depending on the monsoon.
  • Type of dives: Spectacular channel-drift dives, wrecks, pinnacles, world-famous night dives
  • Marine life: Divers will be astonished by the variety of marine life. From nudibranchs and eels, through schools of reef fish, eagle rays, sharks and turtles to manta rays and whale sharks. 

North Atolls:

  • Where: North Male, Baa, Raa or Lhaviyani, North Ari Atoll
  • When: All year round. Itineraries prepared and specific dive sites carefully chosen depending on the monsoon.
  • Type of dives: Mostly Thilas, few channels possible. Snorkeling in Hanifaru Bay in Baa atoll
  • Marine life: seasonal gathering of manta rays and whale sharks and the usual Maldivian reef beauty: turtles, fish diversity and topography

South Atolls:

  • Where: South Male, Vaavu, Meemu, Thaa, Laamu, Huvadhu, Fuvahmulah, Addu Atoll
  • When: All year round. Itineraries prepared and specific dive sites carefully chosen depending on the monsoon.
  • Type of dives: Mostly channel dives. Best of everything!
  • Marine life: Mostly pelagic fauna. Tiger sharks!, Reef sharks, whale sharks, mantas, macro
