Belize Aggressor IV

The 138-foot Belize Aggressor IV is a luxurious liveaboard with 10 spacious cabins for 20 guests. Her Belize scuba diving includes colorful walls & exploration of the popular Blue Hole.

A word from Dom “The sleek Belize Aggressor IV is one of my personal favorite Caribbean liveaboards. She carries divers to explore the beautiful barrier reef of Belize & the magical Blue Hole. There’s more to this area than many divers may think. The wall dives are exquisite & they hide diverse species of weird & wonderful critters. The vessel itself is spacious & inviting. Dominick Macan

Warm, Inviting, Relaxing

Between dives, you can enjoy vistas of the beautiful Caribbean from the large partially covered sundeck which features a wet bar, CD equipment and a hot tub & a grill for barbecue meals.  Just below, on the top deck, is the lounge which has plenty of room where you can watch movies, listen to music and work with your digital photography … and have meals in the adjoining dining area.  Outside at the stern on this deck is another large covered lounging area. Cabin 1, a very spacious deluxe twin or king stateroom, is found on the lower deck.  All other staterooms are located on the main deck and feature large picture windows

The dive deck, located stern on the main deck, has personal gear lockers with in-place air and nitrox fill stations, rinse tanks and a camera table with low-pressure air hoses.

The large dive platform has two warm freshwater showers and two water exit ladders. For photographers, a complete photo center with a digital video and still photo editing computer is available.

Breakfast (cooked to order), buffet lunch and dinner with tableside service are served in addition to fresh mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks. Beverages, soft drinks, local beer and wine are complimentary while on-board.

On board you’ll find kayaks and a dinghy for shore excursions … and the Aggressor offers a safe for your valuables.

Travel & Cruise Logistics

Guests are met at the airport on Saturday and transferred to the yacht.  Or you may arrive on your own between 3 pm & 6 pm.  At 6 pm the yacht departs for its night anchorage.  Sunday through Thursday there is unlimited diving throughout the day and a night dive each evening.  Diving ends Friday before lunch and you’ll return to port.  As a land-tour of Belize is highly recommended (Mayan ruins, a cave tubing ride through the jungle, or a canopy tour through the tree tops) the Aggressor offers a Friday afternoon tour to give you a taste. After a final night on board, check-out is Saturday morning at 8 am.  Transportation is provided back to the Belize City International Airport Saturday morning.

Itinerary

Every Saturday, the Belize Aggressor IV departs from the heart of downtown Belize City to visit Lighthouse Reef, Half Moon Cay and the famous Blue Hole.

Itinerary information and map

The Blue Hole, a collapsed freshwater cave system, is approximately 1000 feet across and over 400 feet deep and was made famous by Jacques Cousteau. Once descended into the Blue Hole you will see beautiful vertical stalactite formations.

Beyond that, Belize is a wall diver’s paradise. Sheer walls like Painted Wall, Half Moon Caye Wall and Quebrada are adorned with huge crimson gorgonians and giant orange elephant ear sponges. Moray eels, spiny lobsters and tiny arrow crabs hide in every crack, crevice, cave and tunnels of these beautiful coral formations.

These are just a few things you will see at Lighthouse Reef, Half Moon Cay and Turneffe Reef.
