The Komodo Aggressor, a 29-meter (95-foot) traditional Indonesian phinisi-style liveaboard, accommodates up to 16 guests on dive adventures through Komodo National Park, Alor, the Banda Sea, Sulawesi, and beyond.

The Komodo Aggressor requires that every diver carries a Surface Marker Buoy.

The spacious upper deck offers both shaded and open-air lounging areas, perfect for relaxing between dives while taking in Komodo’s dramatic island scenery. Inside, guests can enjoy a comfortable air-conditioned salon and dining area with entertainment system, comfortable seating, and plenty of space to unwind after a day underwater. The yacht accommodates guests in well-appointed staterooms with private en-suite bathrooms, combining classic Indonesian charm with modern comfort.

The dive deck is fully equipped for serious divers, with ample storage space for camera and dive gear. Diving is done from dedicated tenders, allowing quick and easy access to Komodo’s famous drift dives, manta cleaning stations, vibrant coral reefs, and action-packed sites teeming with marine life.

Meals onboard the Komodo Aggressor combine international favorites with Indonesian flavors, served in a relaxed and social atmosphere. Guests can enjoy hearty breakfasts, fresh lunches, snacks between dives, and freshly prepared dinners after a full day exploring Komodo’s underwater world.

Travel And Cruise Logistics

International flights usually arrive via Bali (Denpasar – DPS), which is the most convenient gateway for Komodo Aggressor itineraries. Depending on the selected route, guests may need a domestic connection to Labuan Bajo or Maumere on Flores. Selected itineraries also depart directly from Bali. We are happy to assist with arranging domestic flights and travel logistics.

Captains and staff are professionally licensed as required by the laws of the country in which the yacht operates and complies with and the appropriate flag state regulations and/or SOLAS (International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea) standards. All yachts are required to follow Aggressor Fleet® Standard Operations Procedures (SOP). Dive instructors and dive masters are trained and certified by international recognized certification agencies. Each receives proficiency training and annual inspections to review safety aspects.

Depending on the route, guests can explore everything from Komodo’s legendary drift dives and manta hotspots to volcanic islands, remote reefs, and vibrant coral gardens.

North Komodo
7 Night Itinerary

The Komodo Aggressor embarks and disembarks in Labuan Bajo. For this itinerary, the Northern part of Komodo National Park including Banta Island will be covered. Diving activities will primarily be concentrated in Sape Straits Highlights include dramatic pinnacles, healthy coral gardens, sharks, turtles, and iconic Komodo dragon excursions on nearby islands.

Komodo North & South
10 Night Itinerary

This itinerary combines the best of both worlds — the action-packed northern dive sites and the wild, nutrient-rich south of Komodo. The Komodo Aggressor embarks and disembarks in Labuan Bajo. The cruise is focused on diving North & South Komodo National Park including Banta Island. Expect everything from manta rays and current-swept channels to black sand macro dives, stunning soft corals, and incredible marine biodiversity throughout the journey.

Komodo & Sumbawa
10 Night Itinerary

Cruising between Komodo and Sumbawa, this itinerary blends world-class diving with remote volcanic islands and lesser-visited reefs. Highlights of the itinerary: abundance and diverse in soft corals, schooling jacks, oceanic white tip sharks, underwater bubbles from the Sangeang Volcano, excellent macro life, octopus, manta rays, eagle rays, the Komodo Dragon Walk and fruit bats from Satonda Island.

9 Night Itinerary

Known for pristine reefs and exceptional biodiversity, Alor offers a more remote and off-the-beaten-path diving experience. Expect dramatic walls, colorful coral gardens, rare critters, schooling fish, and encounters with dolphins, sharks, and occasional mola mola in crystal-clear waters.

10 Night Itinerary

Embarking on a diving trip aboard a liveaboard from Alor to Ambon is an exhilarating journey through some of Indonesia’s most diverse underwater landscapes. The Banda Sea itinerary takes divers deep into one of Indonesia’s most remote and legendary dive regions. Famous for hammerhead shark encounters, untouched reefs, lava flows, and historic spice islands, this route delivers true expedition-style diving far from the crowds.

Sulawesi North to South
11 Night Itinerary

This adventure itinerary explores the diverse underwater landscapes of Sulawesi, from vibrant coral reefs and volcanic islands to world-famous muck diving areas. From Lembeh Strait, the world capital of muck diving, to Bolaang Mongondow where incredible coral reefs are waiting, to then approach Gorontalo and the fantastic opportunity to dive with whale sharks, crossing to Togian Islands, plenty of pristine reefs and very biodiverse fish life. Next Stop is Pulau Dua, where the dives will be often populated by several white tip, black tip and grey reef sharks, and silvertip sharks. Banggai Islands with no diving base will make you feel like the first divers on earth.
