The Rock Islands Aggressor, a spacious catamaran specifically built for diving, is 106-feet (32-meters) long. She dives the waters of Palau including the world-famous Blue Corner.

Cruise Comfortably Through The Rock Islands

Let’s start from the top and work our way down. Palau Aggressor has a great, mostly covered 50-foot sundeck with tables & chairs and hammocks. From this area, stairs take you down to more outside tables & chairs and the bar & bbq at the aft of the upper deck. This deck also houses an interior salon with TV, stereo player, movies & books as well as comfy sofas …. and the interior dining room. All nine guest cabins are located on the main deck of the catamaran and due to this configuration on a catamaran, the cabins feature windows instead of portholes.

On the main deck, you also find the large dive deck and camera table.

Delicious barbecues, American and local dishes are served. Most meals are served buffet-style. Breakfast is cooked to order and is followed by a buffet lunch and a chef-prepared meal at dinner with tableside service. Also included are fresh mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks. For your entertainment there are shore excursions to cays and beaches (where available) and other activities include snorkeling and digital underwater photograhpy.

Travel & Cruise Logistics

Seven-day charters are Sunday to Sunday with five and one-half days of diving. Diving begins Monday morning and ends Saturday before lunch when the Aggressor returns to port. Monday through Friday there are up to four dives offered each day and a night dive on three evenings, weather permitting. Saturday a half-day of diving is offered.

International flights take you to Koror (ROR) International Airport where you’ll be greeted by a crew member or a Neco Tourist Agent. Transfers are not included in the rate but as there are no phones or taxis at the small airport, Aggressor will assist in your transfer to the yacht. If you are already on the island, you may board the boat any time from 4:30 pm on Sunday and up until Monday morning. The boat departs the dock at 6:00 am. The Rock Islands Aggressor is moored in front of Neco Marine (Malakai) Harbor in Palau. After a week of diving the boat returns to the dock Saturday afternoon after lunch. Checkout is Sunday morning at 8 am. The crew will assist organizing transportation to either the airport or a local hotel if you are extending your stay.

PROFESSIONAL CREWS

Captains and staff are professionally licensed as required by the laws of the country in which the yacht operates and complies with and the appropriate flag state regulations and/or SOLAS (International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea) standards. All yachts are required to follow Aggressor Fleet® Standard Operations Procedures (SOP). Dive instructors and divemasters are trained and certified by international recognized certification agencies. Each receives proficiency training and annual inspections to review safety aspects.

Rock Islands Aggressor offers Best of Palau trips all year round.

The final itinerary is, of course, always dependant upon weather, sea conditions and where the best animal sightings are at any particular time of year

General itinerary information

Palau is a year round destination with something different as the seasons rotate. December through March, you might see as many up to 30 mating manta rays! More winter excitement happens in February and March with large schools of Moorish Idols, unicorn fish and several species of butterfly fish. Throughout the year you’ll find massive bait balls of scad at Ulong, German Channel and on the reefs of Blue Corner and Siaes Corner. The areas between Palau’s mushroom-shaped rock islands offer a variety of exciting dives: shark-infested channels, blue holes, a few caves and some WWII wrecks,. There are sheer walls covered in luxuriant soft corals & big anemones. If you love drift diving, you’ll get plenty here … flowing along with schooling sharks ! Most every itinerary will include Peleliu Corner, Blue Corner, German Channel and Ulong Channel as well as an excursion to the amazing Jellyfish Lake.
