The stunning Mutiara Laut, “Pearl of the Sea”, was constructed to ensure comfortable luxury. Her design is based on that of an 18th century North Atlantic schooner combined with local Indonesian influences of the traditional “Phinisi” sailing ships. She’s a thoroughbred sailing yacht and, unlike many dive liveaboards, her sails are not just for show!
You’ll find extra large day-beds & soft chairs on the deck where you can relax between dives and this lovely space also offers a magnificent setting for all meals: breakfasts under the canopy, ocean view lunches and al-fresco dining under the stars. Inside, on the same deck, you can take a break in the air conditioned salon, complete with entertainment system, large flat screen TV and a media library. Meals can be enjoyed in the elegant interior dining area just next to the salon, should the weather dictate.
t the stern on the main deck is the spacious master cabin which offers magnificent sea views and there’s a luscious covered stern deck where you can hide away with a book or a refreshing drink. Six more tastefully decorated cabins are on the lower deck.
Meals start with breakfast on deck and lunch will be buffet-style. A 3-course dinner, served at the table will include high quality meats imported from New Zealand or Australia, and the freshest fish and seafood sourced locally, often directly from fishermen who come alongside the ship.
Diving is always done from two 5 meter Zodiacs which are also used for shore trips when appropriate during a cruise. Mutiara Laut offers plenty of water sports including snorkeling, water skiing, sea kayaking, wakeboard and stand up paddle.
Mutiara Laut thoroughly explores the spectacular Indonesian archipelago, she goes off the beaten path in search of diving adventures and memorable experiences. Embarkation time on Mutiara Laut is before 12 noon. Please make sure to schedule flight arrival times that allow for the crew to arrange embarkation before 12 o’clock.
The check-out time on the last day of the trip is 11 am. Guests with an early morning departure flight will be taken to the airport well in time to make their flight. For guests with a late afternoon departure flight, the crew will organize a transfer at noon to a hotel or a location near the harbor or the airport.
