You could call it Shark Heaven.  Nowhere else in the world does the diver have the opportunity to dive as intensively with massive sharks as in the Bahamas. The shallow and crystal-clear waters off the islands form the ideal photo & video ops and the encounters are life-changing.  Tigers, lemons, bull sharks & great hammerheads.

Thrill to the dives .... chill on the boat

Dive with tiger sharks, hammerheads, bull sharks, nurse sharks, lemon sharks and Caribbean reef shaks.  And, kick back to enjoy the laid-back comfort of the wonderful, re-fitted Bahamas Master.

Trip overview

Below you'll find the tentative itinerary, which is subject to change based on conditions.

Tiger Beach:

Tiger Beach is a long sandbank between 3m and 8m deep and lined with small coral blocks, seagrass and fan corals that wave in the current.  Here you meet, as the name implies, powerful tiger sharks which come looming in from the distance to check you out.  In addition, you'll have plenty of those fierce-faced lemon sharks and "toothy" nurse sharks. It's an easy diving area in the shallow and sunny Atlantic ... and in addition to scheduled dives, you'll most likely have an opportunity to take a dip when you feel like it.

Fish Tales / World's End:

One of our favorite dive sites. The depth is about 12 to 17 m above the sandy bottom and the "arena" is surrounded by coral reefs and seagrass meadows. Here, the tigers, reef, nurse and lemon sharks are always "on call" ... but, the bull sharks and big hammerhead sharks often get mixed in, too.  The place is fantastic for getting beautiful pictures of the coral reef and its inhabitants. If you have a little patience and skill, you may also get a big tiger lurking behind a fan coral.   But beware - the tiger loves to sneak up on you !

Sugar Wreck:

In very shallow water, the seabed is only with the remaining with sparse remnants of a former freighter and is home to moray eels, sweetlips, small nurse sharks and lots of small shoaling fish, all hiding or swirling amongst the rubble and the colorful coral blocks. In the open water sometime a tiger or reef shark emerges to see what's going on.

The waters off Bimini are mostly at a depth of 10 to 20m with a sandy bottom surrounded by reefs. Bimini is the scene for the bull sharks and the great hammerheads. This is the largest and most solitary of the hammerhead species and they come very close to the divers. It's unique in the diving world from our experience.  To top it all off, the waters of Bimini are also known for spotted dolphins.  Their playful spirit entrances every visitor to their underwater world,
