Built For Strong Seas & Super Comfort

This steel-hulled, ocean-going vessel, originally based in Panama, was built to withstand the occasional rough seas on the runs to and from Cocos and Malpelo, making her an ideal dive liveaboard in any environment.

On the top deck, you will find the covered outdoor bar and dining area as well as a big sundeck for relaxation after the dives.  Two large double cabins, with spectacular views, are located on the mezzanine (bridge) deck while the 4 classic twins & 4 standard twin cabins are all located on the main deck.  Inside on the main deck, you’ll find the indoor lounge with comfortable bean bags and a 52-inch plasma TV/DVD.  Still and video cameras can be linked to the screen for photo and video viewing in the evenings. You’ll find an extensive DVD library onboard, however, you are welcome to bring along your own DVD’s and music.  Board games are also available.

Bahamas Master offers easy access to the water from the main deck by a large dive platform with a ladder. On this deck you’ll find two showers. Dedicated rinse tanks for cameras and computers are provided.   Anindoor camera charging station can be found on the main deck towards the bow.

The menu on-board offers a variety of American choices in addition to local cuisine. If you have any special dietary requirement please let us know when booking.  Beverages such as tea, coffee and fruit juices are always available and both local beer, wines and cocktails are available at extra cost.

Travel & Cruise Logistics

All Bahamas Master itineraries embark and disembark in Bradford Marine, Freeport, Grand Bahama which is served by Grand Bahama International Airport (FPO).

We recommend guests spend a night in the Bahamas before cruise departure. Embarkation will be at 5 pm. Disembarkation at the end of the cruise will be at 8 am.  Transfers to and from the airport or hotels are not included in the rates.  If you are not remaining in the Bahamas for additional nights after your cruise, please allow plenty of time for the transfer to the airport and for check-in.

On certain dive sites, after the scheduled dives, there is an open deck policy where divers can jump in the water and watch the action as the mood takes them. Currents and swells are the norm in the Bahamas, notably around Tiger Beach. It is therefore recommended that divers have experience beyond beginner level to ensure maximum enjoyment, especially with the nature of the wildlife in the area.
