HOLBOX ISLAND, MEXICO - WHALE SHARKS

July 2010

July is the prime month for encounters with the spectacular whale sharks on this island in the Yucatan. On this year's trip photographers had an exceptional average of over 100 sharks per day for four days, feeding at the surface in blue water. A typical day may be upward of 10-15 whale sharks and 20-30 manta rays. Join us in 2010.
