Red Sea |

An underwater habitat as awesome as the cradles of ancient civilizations on land. Whether it's your debut as a diver or your 1000th dive, the the walls, the wrecks, the schools of hammerheads, the fiery corals . . . . will enchant you.

A
Note from Dom |
|
|
In the early 80’s,
I spent four years on a legendary dive boat in the Red Sea,
where I had the
opportunity to explore where few had
gone before. We were truly
pioneers and our adventures were nothing
less than a dream.
We were one of the two boats diving
there at the time & if you've been there in the past 10 years, I know that's hard to imagine!
But, in spite of the growth in
popularity and the mass numbers of
day-boats in the Red Sea today,
there are still opportunities for
spectacular diving - and I return
every chance I get.
Photographers be assured that
opportunities still abound for great
shots, both macro and wide-angle.
Please don't hesitate to
contact us for information
while we're working on the site. I always love
talking about the Red Sea!
Cheers, Dom |

Red Sea / Sudan Overview |
|
|
|
The Red Sea is probably the first place that
comes to mind when you think about diving.
Made famous by Jacques Cousteau, generations of divers have visions
of rich corals, masses of colorful reef fish, countless amazing
wrecks (from freighters to destroyers) . . . and to top it all off
schooling rays and sharks and playful dolphins.
Today the northern part of the Red Sea is heavily populated with day
boats, and while it is still worthwhile diving, many divers prefer
to skip the crowds and head for the southern waters, exploring into
Sudan.
You'll find a haven for large predators as well still-plentiful
numbers of the creatures the Red Sea has long been known for -
lionfish, triggerfish, parrotfish, sweetlips, Wrasse, batfish, jacks
and barracuda . . . well, the list is long.
You'll dive pinnacles, grottos, lagoons, plateaus and drift diving -
plus healthy and prevalent soft and hard corals - all in beautifully
clear water.
In Sudan, we work with the excellent Le Baron Noire
and the
San Marco,
both offering 7 & 14 night trips, flying you from
Cairo to Port Sudan to board the boat.
Details of the boats coming soon. For immediate
