Peter Hughes Komodo Dancer & Paradise Dancer

Based in Bali, the Komodo Dancer explores the waters in & around the Flores Sea including Komodo National Park. The boat, a traditionally-crafted, two-masted wooden motor sailor, is 98 feet long & accommodates 16 guests who are pampered by a crew of 17!

Her eight cabins feature two large staterooms with two lower twin beds, two cabins with a lower queen-size bed and upper single and four twin cabins with two bunks. All cabins are en-suite & have individual air-conditioning.

There are two specific sites in both of these areas that are producing a dazzling array of rare creepy crawlies on a regular basis.  Photographers get those camera ready!

The largest yacht in the Dancer Fleet, Paradise Dancer, a three masted, wooden motor schooner, measures 57 meters (188 feet) in length.  Her interior style is that of a “floating boutique resort” and features the high end amenities guests expect of the Dancer Fleet.

All of the state rooms are larger than traditional liveaboard state rooms, plus there is also a 470 square foot "Master and Commander Suite " featuring a king size bed, separate sitting area with a sofa, and table with chairs that reminds guests of the "captains quarters" from the schooner design that inspired her.  Spacious common areas include a dining room, a lounge and a huge deck area.

Pelagian

Simply luxurious. That’s the Pelagian.  She’s exceedingly spacious and elegant, tastefully decorated, and completely air-conditioned, of course.  On board this unique vessel, you’ll feel as if you’re vacationing in a spa resort rather than cruising on a dive liveaboard.

The Pelagian was built in Norway, designed to be an elegant world-ranging, comfortable and stable motor yacht. Over the years she has been rebuilt, upgraded and improved many times, most recently at the start of 2009.

You'll find 5 beautiful cabins (keeping the numbers of divers to a maximum of 10), loads of deck space, multiple lounges and dining spaces and tons of space for dive preparation, all your gear and your photography work.
The crew is highly experienced and very welcoming and the service impeccable.

Plus, we feel it's important to note that
Pelagian's cruising route, which includes exclusive access to the diving sites in the extended Wakatobi region, in southeast Sulawesi, is fully-integrated into Wakatobi's award-winning marine conservation and community development programs.  Read more about the Pelagian and her home, the exquisite Wakatobi Resort >>>                                  Back to top

Pindito

For many divers, the Pindito has been a favorite since she first set sail back in 1992.   She was sheer adventure . . . and although she didn’t offer all of the creature comforts sought by those looking for that exquisite combination of luxury and adventure, she was a great dive boat.

Recent renovations to this beautiful vessel have upgraded her amenities – with en-suite facilities in every cabin – putting her in a comfort class for all.

A 124-foot wood-hull schooner built in the traditional Indonesian fashion, the Pindito was the first major dive boat to make the waters of Raja Ampat her home. Her owner/captain, Edi Frommenwiler says that he followed his instincts in exploring the Raja Ampat area . .  and those instincts were impeccable.

Captain Edi helped to lead the way to opening up the best dive sites in the waters of West Papua / Raja Ampat . . . plus the Moluccas & Nusa Tenggara . . .  and is almost certainly the most experienced captain you can sail with in those areas.

17 Indonesian crewmembers and 3 multi-lingual European Dive Guides will join forces on the Pindito to make your experience, on board and in these fascinating waters, an unforgettable voyage.   Read more
